Wye Bakery is now closed .
Sadly we have had to close the bakery due to a £28,000 per year increase in electricity costs , approximately 600% . This has made it impossible to operate profitably .
We would like to thank all of our customers for their support and business over the last 8 years .

The Hickson family have had the honour of owning the Wye bakery since 2014; Pauline ex manager of Wye Farmers market & owner of The Challock Chutney Company, is chief baker & boss. Paulines runs the business with husband, John & their daughters, Jess & Kath, who all have their parts to play - no one is left out and all hands are flour dusted!
Pauline was trained by Rachel and Liz at the Lighthouse Bakery in Bodiam , East Sussex . But she is still learning!
